Active Reach

While functional reach and transfers are improved using a seat elevator, many functional tasks are still limited as the chair is positioned sideways to the task at hand or your knees are unable to remain under tabletops. Permobil’s ActiveReach pairs with 14″ of seat elevation on the M5 so you can get closer to what matters.

ActiveReach (forward tilt) creates up to 4.5″ of additional reach. This can be used for reaching beyond obstructions, into high cabinets, or even assist in transfers. Truly putting your world within reach.

  • Permobil M5 Corpus with Active Height seat elevator - Beyond Mobility

    Active Height

    The M5 has an incredible 14" of powered seat elevation that enables you to drive at up to 5 km/h while fully elevated.

    There is no suspension lock-out, meaning you remain comfortab;e at any elevation.

    The seating system moves rearward by 90mm when elevated, reducing the footprint of the chair.

    The Seating system on the M5 Corpus has true lay-flat ability.

    Recline your backrest 180 Degrees, and elevate your legrests to 180 degrees to achieve a full lay-flat experience.

    If Lay-Flat isn't for you, there are multiple backrest recline and legrest elevation options available to suit your needs.

  • Corpus Seating

    The Corpus seating system features an ergonomic design that follows the contours of the body. Improved pelvic positioning, comfort, lateral stability and immersion are all key objectives of the new Corpus cushions.
