What is Active Reach?

Active Reach combines the powered seat elevator with a forward tilt.

When combined, the seating system creates up to 4.5" of additional reach - getting you closer to the world around you.

Active reach makes it easier to complete aids of daily living, improving the access to surroundings. It can also be programmed to perform a transfer position that is uniquely tailored to each individual users requirements.

Active Reach is available on Permobil's Corpus seating systems. The following power functions are required when using 20 Degrees or more of Anterior tilt;

  • Powered seat elevator
  • Powered seat tilt
  • Powered backrest recline
  • Powered elevating and length compensaiting legrest (Corpus VS Legrest)

    10 Degrees of Anterior tilt is possible, with power seat elevator and power seat tilt being the only requirements.
