    A Front Mounted Power Assist Device, also known as Power Add-on- is a powered attachment that turns your manual wheelchair into a motorised wheelchair. 

    Lifting the front castors off of the ground, Front-Mounted PAD's create a trike - meaning you're able to venture on various terrains, and traverse over obstacles easier.

Will a power assist fit my wheelchair?

With 1000's of different makes and models of wheelchairs on the market, it is challenging to know the technical specifications of each product.

However, the manufacturers we use offer either specific fitting kits, or, universal fitting kits which allow us to supply and fit power add-on's to most makes and models of wheelchair.

Can I try a power assist device?

Of course! Our trained representatives offer demonstrations at your home, place of work, place of education or hospital.

We'd encourage trying a Power Add-On before committing to purchasing one to ensure suitability.
